The Dillinger Escape Plan, formed in New Jersey in 1997 by guitarist Ben Weinman, completely revolutionized the concept of grindcore.

Their rage is modulated by quite skilled playing, highlighted by sophisticated guitar riffs and complex polyrhythms.
