          6. It all began in 1973, when he apprenticed with Ricci Burns in London. It was there, as Burns’ senior stylist and art director, that avant-garde hair designs became Robert’s signature. Art took center stage when he became Creative Director for the famous Michaeljohn Salon, also in London, and went global in 1985 when he began working with Geri Cusenza of Sebastian International.
